As the economy worsens many people look for ways to cut costs. For some, it might be luxuries like going out to dinner a couple of times a week, but for too many others, the cut comes by decreasing health care. Cutting back on mental health care is penny wise and pound foolish. Depression and anxiety left untreated can lead to serious health risks such as high blood pressure, digestive problems, and even death. Let’s all hope that the next election will bring us universal health care inclucing mental health parity. LS/CE
